A lot of new things come along with a new year — new struggles, new hats, and new definitions just to name a few. One word that ol’ Webster has pointed a hairy eyeball at is “creationism.” Stuffy Christians will lay claim to the phrase no longer as we have a new design for this one. DJs AARON LINDELL & FOREST JUZIUK got a bunch of records, something to play them on, a few dance step charts and created COLOR HUMANO! That’s new creationism at work! And holy smokes, it’s divine!
Here’s your soundtrack for the new creationism. It’s called Windspell and it’s suitably witchy, comprised of swirling synths, cosmic jazz (far out!), no wave rage, and I’ll be damned if there aren’t some secret Alice Coltrane tinkles in there.
